Ulduz AzadConsultant / PhD

Ulduz Azad completed her undergraduate education in the Department of Food Engineering at Ankara University. She then pursued her master's degree (MBA) in the Business Administration Department of Yıldız Technical University's Institute of Social Sciences, and later earned her doctorate in Marketing from the same university.

Ulduz Azad began her 23-year professional career at TANSAŞ A.Ş., a Doğuş Group company, then worked in the purchasing department at Migros A.Ş., part of the Koç Group. She then continued her career within the Anadolu Group, which holds the master franchise for McDonald's in Turkey. Subsequently, she served as an Executive Board member at HD Holding, where she was Director responsible for Production, Quality, R&D, and Purchasing. She also served as Supply Chain Director at APIC Siniora, which acquired the Polonez brand. During this period, she developed a roadmap in strategic purchasing, logistics, and planning, and implemented many strategic infrastructure projects.

Throughout her doctoral studies, she provided consultancy in organizational management, process design, and business development. With a strategic perspective, she developed, implemented, and successfully managed sustainable, long-term, and value-creating projects in many critical areas such as category management, purchasing, quality, logistics, and production.

She has maintained her academic productivity throughout her professional career, publishing articles on online retail and customer experience in İşletme Dergisi and BMIJ Dergisi. She currently writes weekly articles under the title "7 Days 7 Agenda" in Satın Alma Dergisi, and also publishes monthly articles in the retail and purchasing fields. She continues to teach courses on current retail practices in the Executive MBA programs at Istanbul University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

She is proficient in English and Farsi, and has an intermediate command of Arabic.
