Gürhan Kaba has over 28 years of experience in both multinational and national companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors. He started his business life with his fast-food experience during his high school years, and continued his professional life in the pharmaceutical industry in important companies such as Wyeth, Menarini, Deva Holding, Chiesi, Biofarma, VSY Biotechnology and GM Group, respectively.
In his pharmaceutical industry career journey, which started as a temporary staff for a period of only 3 months, he served as a senior manager in both local and global positions in all critical functions including marketing, sales, trade, production and finance. In addition, in more holistic roles such as executive and board membership and vice president, he has led many successful projects such as mergers & acquisitions, organizational transformation and the creation and execution of corporate sustainability policies.
He defined transforming organizations that are going through financial difficulties, experiencing "chronic" failure, team building, efficiency and effectiveness problems, achieving concrete and sustainable results by leading such structures, and creating a culture of having fun and learning as the most satisfying achievements of his professional life.
In his business and private life, he rejected concepts such as fate, fate, coincidence and luck, and adopted an understanding of success based on result-oriented but structured processes as a principle. His professional life, which started during his high school years, continued throughout his higher education. He graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration and Anadolu University Faculty of Communication, Department of Advertising and Public Relations. However, he has made many decisions in his life, whether right or wrong, and especially strives to continue learning from his mistakes.
He was born in Istanbul in 1978 and speaks fluent English and intermediate Italian.
