Kanat Gürel, who graduated from METU Civil Engineering Department in 1997, completed his MBA master's degree at Koç University, graduating in 1999. He started his career in the Management Consulting Department at Arthur Andersen, then worked as a consultant for a total of 5 years in the Corporate Finance department at İş Yatırım. Joining PepsiCo-Frito Lay in 2005, he held various roles in the Finance Department for seven years, including one year in Serbia. From 2012 to 2019, he served as the Finance and Corporate Relations Director at Red Bull Turkey. Between 2019 and 2021, he held the position of Finance Director at Doluca Winery.

Gürel, who became acquainted with the coaching profession in 2017, completed the International Coaching Federation (ICF) approved Coaches Training Institute (CTI) Coaching Trainings, obtaining the CPCC (Certified Co-Active Coach) title in 2019, ACC (Associate Certified Coach) in 2020, and PCC (Professional Certified Coach) in 2021. Kanat, who lives in Canada, uses the diversity offered by different approaches in his coaching to provide coaching and mentoring to executives in North America and Turkey.

Kanat Gürel has provided customized training sessions to many institutions, including Garanti BBVA, Yapı Kredi Bankası, and Sahibinden.com, focusing on topics such as Personal Leadership, Leading Your Team, Leading Relationships, Leading the Future, and Change Management, all tailored to the institutions' needs and corporate culture.
