Esin Umut was born in 1971 in İzmir. While attending İzmir Saint-Joseph College for secondary education, she won the Turkey Middle School Volleyball Championship, gaining a licensed athlete status, which she maintained until the end of her university years. After graduating from İzmir Tevfik Fikret High School, she earned her degree from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University. In 1998, she was selected as the “top student” in the pre-MBA program at the University of Dallas in the state of Texas, USA, and completed her MBA in Marketing with a 50% scholarship.

Throughout her career spanning over 25 years, she has held roles as Product Manager and Marketing Manager at both local and international companies such as Kopaş, Dardanel, Evyap, Henkel, Hunca, Şölen, and g2m. During this period, she successfully launched over 400 products and managed more than 50 brands, significantly increasing their market share, brand awareness, and revenue. She specialized in strategic marketing, branding, and product innovation. With a collaborative management approach, she developed integrated marketing strategies with sales, product development, and customer service teams.

In 2018, she brought this experience to Azerbaijan, where she served as Marketing Innovation Director at Azersun Holding. There, she led the structuring of innovation processes and the promotion of an innovation culture.

She is one of the few certified FORTH Innovation facilitators in Turkey and the only one recognized in Azerbaijan by the international FORTH Innovation Institute.

Under Qmark Consulting, she currently provides consulting services to corporate firms in Azerbaijan and Turkey on strategic leadership, business leadership, change leadership, strategic marketing, innovation roadmaps, brand management, and innovation culture. She also delivers customized training programs designed to meet the specific needs of organizations.
